M-ITI continues to foster the relationship of research and politics, by welcoming the Commission for Economy, Innovation and Public Works of the Assembly of the Republic, on March 21. The delegation was comprised by Members of Parliament of the largest political parties.
This was one of the three-day visits in Madeira, in which the Commission had protocol and working meetings with some of the most prominent institutions in Madeira Island.
During this visit, M-ITI main projects were showcased, including a M-ITI startup Prsma and the CTP lab (funded by the ERA Chair programme). Researchers also had the opportunity to liaise with the politicians, which is essential to expand government support for research and development.
